On May 17, 2025, in Athens, during the annual meeting of the Mathematical Society of South Eastern Europe (MASSEE), it was decided that the Balkan Mathematical Olympiad for high school students will take place in 2027 in the city of Korçë.
The event will be organized by the Albanian Mathematical Association in collaboration with the Faculty of Natural and Human Sciences of “Fan S. Noli” University, Korçë.
