The 16th edition of the European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO) will take place from April 11 to 17, 2027, in Šibenik, Croatia. The Albanian delegation consists of a team of four girls (under the age of 20), accompanied by a team leader and a deputy leader.
EGMO 2027 will be organised by the Croatian Mathematical Society in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia. The competition paper comprises six problems, distributed over two days, with a duration of four and a half hours per day.
Participation is by invitation from the Albanian Mathematical Association, based on performance in the EGMO Team Selection Test. Only the top-performing participants from Round III of the 2026–27 National Mathematical Olympiad are eligible to compete in the TST.
EGMO 2027 will mark the national team's 13th appearance in the competition. Albania has previously won one bronze medal and 12 honorable mentions.
